When God sits down and stares into the eyes of a person who has just murdered a child, raped someone, or spent a life in addiction to pornography and gives them the chance to change their mind and be made into a new creation as His child, that’s scary. And sometimes we don’t want to admit that He’s the kind of God who does that. It’s not how we’d like to respond to that person.
